Kansas City Community Meetup (KCCM) is a non-profit based in Kansas City. They raise money and awareness for local charities by hosting gaming events.
Brand Expansion
Color + Font Exploration
With this project, my main focus was to identify a color palette and typeface that accurately portrays who KCCM is and the type of work they facilitate. In the gaming community, dark color themes are prevalent because it helps ease the eye strain of the gamer. To balance the darker theme, I explored vibrant colors to lighten the page and bring a layer of fun to the branding!
The typeface Gopher combines tech with gaming to create a sleek, modern, and geometric feel to the overall brand. Legibility was the main focus so identifying various weights was essential to the project.

Prior to becoming my client, KCCM did not have a website. I started with a list of must-haves from the client and brought those into a wireframe to help identify the flow and usability.
